SOFT SKILLS PROGRAMME REPORT 2017-18
Dang Seva Mandal’s Dadasaheb Bidkar Arts, Commerce and Science College Peth Taluka Peth
Dist Nashik organized Soft Sills training Program for SY BA and TY BA students .Thirty (30)
students were selected for the programme .The purpose of the programme was to develop the
students work-life skills as well as their personal and emotional well being such as resilience,
teamwork, leadership, communication, emotional maturity, confidence and enthusiasm for
learning citizenship, responsibility and employability skills.
In the program special attention was paid on the essential skills how to make time management
for study stress management and conflict resolution. The students made aware of their
responsibilities and duties toward nation. Because of the programme the students became
aware the need of the soft skills along with the formal education.
The objectives of the soft skills programme were to give each student a realistic perspective of
work and work expectations. To help each student to give them problem solving skills ,to make
them able to take suitable decision, to guide them the importance of goals setting and its
fulfillment and importance of self behavior.
The programme was for two weeks in which the lectures were delivered by our college faculty
members .Dr .Narendra Patil took lectures on time and stress managements on the hand Mr
Shrihari Thorwat delivered on the topic such as teamwork, leadership, and decision making.As
well Mr .Ganesh More deliverwd lectures on the topics namely communication, emotional
maturity, confidence and enthusiasm for learning citizenship, responsibility and employability
The programme was inaugurated at the auspicious hands of our principal hon’ble Dr. R BR
TOCHE and the scheduled of the programme was in first week September and in the last week
of December. The time was chosen convenient to all the students according to the
transportation facility. the program was under the thorough supervision of our respected
principle Dr.R B Toche .As per his constructive suggestion and remarks the programme was run
for the betterment of the students .At the end oral feedbacks were taken in which the students
expressed satisfaction .
