Dang Seva Mandal is established by Voluntary worker Hon`ble Dadasaheb Bidkar in 1937 and working only in remote Adiwashi areas for Social education, information about laws, prohibition, awareness of ‘Swadeshi’ Movement, education of boys and girls , and such other programme were undertaken by the Mandal large numbers of educated Tribals / Aadivasis involved themselves in this work. In order to help the tribals in getting employment, the Mandal Established number of forest workers co-operative Societies helped not only in generating employment but also in making the Tribals ‘Aware’.
The Mandal’s Institution include 7 Tribals Schools (Ashram Schools), 11boys/ Girls Hostels, 5 Secondary Schools,3 Junior colleges , 3 Senior College, Grain bank , Nurseries and other units. While the Mandal has been doing its best to run all these The Mandal’s voluntary work led to the ‘Making’ of eminent workers. Taking inspiration and training from the Mandal’s activities, a large number of eminent workers have been shouldering responsible positions in the Government.
Number of there tribal workers have been representing people in the Legislative Assemble/council and parliament. The Dang Sewa Mandal has been functionality for the last 65 years in Balgan, Kalwan, Peth Surgana and Dindori Tahsils of Nashik District.
